I Diva Smoothed it!
So I had this job interview to go to and I needed to somehow make my hair presentable! I been doing a lot of research online and found Natural-laxers. Natural-laxers are like relaxers but no chemicals just natural herbal ingredients. I decided to order Diva Smooth by Janelle Beauty since it has so much great ratings. Your able to put it on at home yourself if your lazy take it to your hair stylist and it last about 4 weeks. I followed a video on Youtube.com, I'll post it up when i get the OK. Just like how relaxers are applied, you do the same with Diva Smooth. Its sticky like honey and it will drip down your neck and face but its fine. It wont do anything to your skin since its all natural herbal ingredients. I left it on for 45 minutes with a plastic cap and a cloth around the edges to prevent it from dripping, shampooed and conditioned my hair then put on a 3 minute treatment and washed it out. My hair was still curly the curls a bit relaxed, no major difference.I blew it out till i had a fro, put a bit of the coconut oil that comes with Diva Smooth (or if you have at home use that too) passed the flat iron and it came out looking GREAT! The coconut oil adds shine to it. Now remember my hair being blown out with no relaxer when i was young?
THIS DARN PICTURE ~_~
I haven't had any issues with the roots poofing out as much on hot days. Now i know its harsh to use heat on your hair but i only use it when i need to such as for job interviews or events. Other than that i walk around looking like i got electrocuted, or like a troll doll lol at home of course. I can still curl my hair as usual. You can leave this on for about 45 minutes to an hour or longer depending how straight you want it. I left it on for about 45 minutes.
I DID IT MYSELF, IT CAME OUT LIKE THIS! =)
I have about 3 inches of relaxed hair on me and every month I get it trimmed. My hair grows a little faster since i been taking care of it. I trimmed it the day I got the Dominican blow out.
That's all for tonight! Feel free to contact me if any questions. =)
